Frequently asked questions
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address and we'll send you a 6-digit code; enter it in the app. There is no password. The first sign-in creates your account. Keyring is free to use with limits; accounts we invite get full access.
What can I track in Keyring?
Cars (VIN, oil and tire specs, service history, part numbers, fuel consumption, insurance), homes (utility accounts, paint codes, appliances) and household devices such as boilers, water filters, air conditioners or generators.
How does fuel consumption calculation work?
When you log a fuel fill-up and mark "Full tank", Keyring calculates consumption (L/100 km) between full-tank fill-ups, automatically summing any partial fill-ups in between.
How do maintenance reminders work?
Schedules can track time (months), meter readings (kilometers or hours), or whichever comes first. Logging a service record with the matching component automatically resets the schedule.
Can I share a car or home with family?
Yes. Open the asset, tap Members and add a family member by their FAMHQ email as an Editor or Viewer. Access applies immediately to the asset and its attached devices.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile and tap "Delete account". We'll email you a code; enter it to confirm. This permanently deletes the assets you own, their service records, schedules and documents. Your other FAMHQ apps keep their data. If you no longer have the app, email julianomg8@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your Keyring account for you.
